Our morning started out with some coffee and College Gameday on the couch (definitely a chilly November morning) before we tackled two overflowing laundry baskets. And "even funner" things were on the horizon.
We had the unexpected opportunity to see an afternoon performance of Mamma Mia! at the fabulous Fox! (Thanks, Jan!)
The show was so much fun! We both really enjoyed it. The songs (of course), dancing and costumes were all great, and there was even a sing-along at the end! We might have danced a little, too. And maaaybe someone in our house is currently whistling the tune to, "Just one look and I can hear a bell ring..." :)
During intermission, I was able to quickly check the UGA score (another reason I love Twitter) and see that the Dawgs were whooping up on New Mexico State.
Did you know?
The 42 points in the second quarter for Georgia was its most in a quarter since at least 1964. -@marcweiszer

After the show was over, we checked back in to see that they had finished the drill! GO DAWGS!
The program had a $10 off coupon for Concentrics Restaurants, so of course that made a dinner decision easy. We headed for "one" of our favorites: One Midtown Kitchen. They had really pretty fall decorations out - pumpkins, branches, orange flowers and greenery.
(Side note: We love Open Table. I'm sure they have a very useful app, but their mobile site is also great for you other few non-iPhone users. I made reservations in the car on the way over, and you get bonus points for each completed reservation that you can cash in for gift certificates.)
We enjoyed some drinks first. Andrew had a smoked apple Old Fashioned, and I had their version of a fall sangria. It was delicious if a little ostentatious. ;)
I didn't make Andrew suffer through me taking photos of all the food, but I did snap a pic of my soup.

African Squash Soup with Apple Brown Butter Cream
YUM. Every soup we've ever had at One has been so, so good. We have a sneaking suspicion that heavy cream plays a big part in that, but whatever works!
Now we're in our "snugglies" (not to be confused with Snuggies, which we also have) and watching some football while folding laundry. We've come full circle.
Needless to say, we are thankful for today!

Smoked apple Old Fashioned sounds AWESOME.
